Overall enjoyed it, wasn’t spectacular but the story is very engaging and I’m excited for the next book。 Love love the enemies to lovers but still enemies theme。

Serena

So good。 So neat to see the story from a different view and the complexity and surprises kept coming。

This book is absolutely stellar。 It took a moment to figure out when this was in the timeframe of the series but once I did we were full steam ahead。 I just cannot cope with that ending so bring on the next book 🔥🔥

Basically the second book's plot but from a different POV。 It was hard for me to read because I already knew the ending on top of most interactions between Keri's/aren so it was a long book。 Had some really cute moments and the mirroring of characters was a nice touch。 Just not for me。 Ugh。 Didn't realize the series wasn't finished tho 😅 Basically the second book's plot but from a different POV。 It was hard for me to read because I already knew the ending on top of most interactions between Keri's/aren so it was a long book。 Had some really cute moments and the mirroring of characters was a nice touch。 Just not for me。 Ugh。 Didn't realize the series wasn't finished tho 😅 。。。more

very long but pretty good well written plot and intriguing characters although kerris was a little too lovesick

The audacity of this book to end the way it did。 I need my star-crossed lovers to find their HEA and fast。

Jensen has quickly become one of my favorite authors。 Every book I've read from her has been a 4。5 star or 5 star! This entire series for me has been a 5-star。 It's witty at times, and fast-paced, the plot twists are usually unpredictable, and the spice is usually done very well。 I can't recommend this series enough if you love the enemies-to-lover trope! The best book in the series so far。 The tension, the stakes, the banter。 So good。 The author did an amazing job of dealing with morality and how there is never a villain in a war, only victims。 The writing was wonderful, and the characters were exceedingly well-developed。 The romance started a bit abruptly, but I loved how it progressed in a way that was true to both characters: they never lost their development in the name of fitting a romance。

that ending????? i need the next book immediately

to było niesamowite!Co prawda książkę czytałam 1,5 miesiąca mino to orientowałam się w akcji。 Zakończenie było niespodziewane。 Była masa plot twistów。 Nie mogę się doczekać kolejnego tomu!!

3。5 starsThe cliffhanger in this book is insane

I’m usually not a fan of the whole switching the focus couple mid-series thing, but this was done right。 Lots of questions about what could have possibly happened between Keris and Zarrah from The Traitor Queen were answered, but the ending was a cliffhanger of epic proportions。

It's fun。。。for a while。But then it drags on and on and doesn't go anywhere。The characters frankly fall in love really quickly in the first 10%, the rest is just them apart and barely seeing each other yet completely willing to murder and pilage for the other。 The first book of this series was truly the peak and it's unfortunate I didn't quite love this book。 It's fun。。。for a while。But then it drags on and on and doesn't go anywhere。The characters frankly fall in love really quickly in the first 10%, the rest is just them apart and barely seeing each other yet completely willing to murder and pilage for the other。 The first book of this series was truly the peak and it's unfortunate I didn't quite love this book。 。。。more

More like 3。5。 Dragged a bit since it takes place at the same time as the previous books。 I was not expecting it to continue into another book but I'm excited to follow these characters。 More like 3。5。 Dragged a bit since it takes place at the same time as the previous books。 I was not expecting it to continue into another book but I'm excited to follow these characters。 。。。more

A new romance blooms during the same war that has been ravaging the world that Danielle L。 Jensen created in her previous two books in The Bridge Kingdom Series。 This storyline runs parallel to the events that happened in The Traitor Queen (book two), and it is the unexpected and forbidden romance between Kerris of Maridrina and Zarrah of Valcotta - two countries that have been at war with each other for many, many years, with no end in sight。 The book is fast paced, beautiful written and narrat A new romance blooms during the same war that has been ravaging the world that Danielle L。 Jensen created in her previous two books in The Bridge Kingdom Series。 This storyline runs parallel to the events that happened in The Traitor Queen (book two), and it is the unexpected and forbidden romance between Kerris of Maridrina and Zarrah of Valcotta - two countries that have been at war with each other for many, many years, with no end in sight。 The book is fast paced, beautiful written and narrated, and has a fantastic plot line to it。 I loved where the story is going and even though the book ended on a cliffhanger, I looked forward to reading the next book to see where the author takes us next, and what happens to Zarrah and Keris 。。。more

More like 4。5 stars。 I just didn’t love Zarrah as much as I loved Lara, but still soooooo good! So fun to see all the things that happened during the war from very different perspectives

Angela Mirode

I loved reading about Keris and Zarrah。 Their story, the hate between their people and the way they would still do everything for each other。Unfortunately, I was a little bored because the story takes place in the same time as book 2 and I already knew most of the plot so I had to drag myself a little through certain parts but at the same time I was curious to learn the details from other’s POVs。And that ending!!! Made me feel so excited for book 4 🤯

Georgina

This had some great moments (namely the beginning section and the end) and it was so nice to be back in this world but I found that the book dragged in parts and it definitely picked back up at the end but overall I have to give it 3 stars

Garrett

I think this book should have been combined with book 2, the pacing was strange considering it was covering events we already knew the outcomes for。I thought I’d like the mcs of these books more but Lara and Aron are too good。

Jolina

Amazing series! I‘m looking forward to the next instalment 5/5

Paige

Danielle! How do you keep doing this?! This might be in my top three books of the year。 Seriously, I loved everything about this book。 Amazing work! Can not wait for book 4! 💖 Should Zeris or Karrah be their couple name?

Leia

2。75 stars Far to long and didn’t care about the story I liked the cross over with the characters from the bridge kingdom and I like keris’ character a lot but that’s about it

Lindsay

I would have rated this higher if not for be fact that it covers so many of the same events, even exact dialogue, as the last book。 I get that it’s a different POV and a bit of gap filling, but it didn’t feel worth the read。 That said, it’s still really well-written, and I appreciate the action。

Chelsea

I can't get enough of Danielle Jensen's books。 I absolutely fell in love with Aren and Lara and she did her magic causing me to love Zarrah and Zeris。 The cliffhanger ended great with me wanting more! The reason for four stars instead of five was because at time I skipped through a few parts already knowing what was going to happen due to the previous books but also some sex scenes that felt too long and not needed。 I can't get enough of Danielle Jensen's books。 I absolutely fell in love with Aren and Lara and she did her magic causing me to love Zarrah and Zeris。 The cliffhanger ended great with me wanting more!
